Winter Break So Far...

So, I am still figuring out this Blogspot thing but hopefully next time I will have it figured out and be more patient. So, until then you get to enjoy a collage of photo's at the top. Next time I will figure out how to move them around and have them go where I want them...I am not interested anymore at the moment.

And now for my new post to the new blog...

We love winter break! This winter break has been especially great because mom and dad R came to visit over x-mas and this Tuesday we will go to Florida to see mom and dad H! Plus, we have had a few days just to veg and chill at home which is always nice as well.

Our visit with mom (AB) and dad (DB) R was a blast. We saw xmas lights, we walked, we went to a show at the Kennedy Center (Legally Blonde - it was quite silly). The tune to "Omigod" haas been stuck in our heads for DAYS! We also went to the Newseum and the newly renovated American History Museum. We made time for a little shopping in Georgetown and of course went out to eat at GREAT places. We had a blast with AB & DB - they were wonderful house guests and we look forward to their next visit!

We got a webcam from AB & DB for Chanukah - so if you have SKYPE and you miss our faces...give us a call! My mom and I had the giggles this morning when Skyping...there were tears streaming down my face. Perhaps next time we play rockband (our new favorite when we go to our friend M & B's we can video ourselves!

Welcome to C and M's New Home

Welcome to the new home of CandM's blog.

Housekeeping:
1) Wondering why we moved - C & I felt cramped in our old bloghouse and needed more room to stretch out and park our pictures (and we were tired of Sampa always crashing). You likely didn't know, but it would take at least 2 attempts to upload a blog (pre-written of course, because it kept crashing) and the editing applet was not fully Firefox compatable.

2) If you were on the email list for the old blog, C & I will sign you up for the new site. You will get a confirmation email once that happens from FeedBurner (just confirm and you'll be good to go).

The Update:
For those that are wondering, the semester for me ended last week and it went out in style - 6 finals and 2 papers in four days. Thankfully it's over and I can move on to more important things, like next semester & winter break.

So far my winter break has had everything this previous semester lacked, namely time to relax. I've had time to write a few cover letters for job applications and hang out w/C. I've also had time to play with my new drill...










...as you can see, we even have matching outfits. I guess vomit green is the new brown.
