Elated about Eight Month Photos

You could say that I am elated, excited, exuberant, and e-mazed about turning 8 months old.  So to celebrate, I thought we should explore somewhere I have not been.  Hehe, Phin thought I should use as may E words as possible.  I'm only 8 months old, so I do not know too many (4 E-adjectives apparently). 

Turning Eight months old has been a lot of fun.  I have been dancing (while standing and sitting), singing, and talking even more than before.  I have been enjoying spending time with my friends (well, they are generally Phin's friends), playing with my toys (well, these are generally Phin's too), and giving hugs, raspberries, and snuggles to anyone who will take them (these are all mine!).  I guess you could say Eight is Great - I rhymed, hehe.

Enough about me.  For my photo shoot, we went to the Jefferson Memorial in downtown DC.  It was crowded, there were not Cherry Blossoms yet, and Phin was edgy.  But, we still had a great time and it was a beautiful day (it was snowing in St Louis).  Check out these photos below; you can see all of my photos by following this link.

Grass!

Now that I'm nearly 8 months old, I'm discovering a lot of new things.  For instance, did you know about that pointy (yet soft) thing called Grass?  So much fun, isn't it!  You can sit on it, you can pull it, you can bend it, and you can eat it.  Really you can do anything with it. 

Grass, you are one of my new favorites...I look forward to spending lots of time with you this summer.  Can't wait to tell Hannah about you, she's going to love you too.

Amelia: 7-Month Photo Shoot in the 'Hood

I'm officially 7 months old!  Yeah me.  Life at 7 months is great: my ability to ingest the food I am eating has greatly increased, I can stand-up holding on to something (once someone stands me up and stays there to catch me), I smile back when people (even strangers) smile at me, I jump in my jumperoo, and I kick my legs and laugh when something is funny or I get excited.  Oh yeah, it's great to be 7 months old. 

While I was officially in St Louis for my 7-month birthday - where it was cold and snowy, I returned to beautiful and warm weather in DC.  So the following day, we headed outside to enjoy the sun and the metro (for Phin), and to take my 7-month photo shoot photos. 

These shots were all taken at three different locales around my neighborhood - so much fun.
