Happy Halloween 2013

 Dinosaur Train!  I love Dinosaur Train - a show on the pbs computer site.  It has dinosaurs riding a train.  I also love Thomas and his friends (who are also trains).  I love trains so much.  So when Mom and Dad asked me what I would like to dress up as for Halloween, I said trains!

So Mom and Dad made me a Thomas costume and Amelia a Rosy the Train costume.  Dad also dressed as a train engineer (in case we had a breakdown) and Mom was dressed as a railroad crossing.

On Halloween we got dressed up and went over to our friends Harper and Eamon's house with a bunch of neighborhood friends.  You can see our pictures here.

A Walk in the Woods

Two weeks ago we were getting a little cagey.  I was starting to pull my hair, Phin was starting to spin in circles, and Mom was getting sleepy.  So Dad decided we needed to go hiking in the woods at one of our favorite spots (Huntley Meadows).  While it was a little bit chilly, the leaves were in full coloration and the geese well in full quacking (or whatever noise they make).
