These are a few of my favorite things...

There are few things that I love. Cars definitely tops the list. Followed by trains, trucks, dig trucks, trash trucks, Volkswagens, race cars, dinosaurs, barnyard animals, other animals, Amelia, Mommy + Daddy, other people, the water table, playing in the dirt, the playground, grass, feeding the ducks, feeding Amelia, trees, the moon… okay, it is more than a few. But, I love it even more when two of my favorite things come together in a fun tangle.
On Saturday, we took our and went to the Bowie Baysox baseball game (I do love baseball – just not sitting in my seat). The Baysox had a promotion, they invited all of my favorite Star Wars guys (I love Star Wars). It was a phuntastic tangle!

I was a little disappointed that Yoda could not make it (Dad said his flight was delayed). But I got to see R2D2 (several of them), storm troopers, Obi-Wan Kenobi (who displayed his original collectibles), Jedi’s, Darth Vader, and other guys I never knew existed! Super cool. I am hoping that our next vacation can be to Degobah to see Yoda (since we missed him this time). I want to show him the shirts that Aunt Mimi made me and Amelia.

Check out all of my Baysox-Star Wars photos.  I'm already looking forward to next year.

Peace Out,

Teaching Other Babies to Sit #2 - Now While Crying

Two years ago, I shot an instructional video teaching other babies how to sit up.  It was my first instructional video.  A few days ago, I shot the video below (yes, I shot it on my red tablet (yes, it's mine not mom's, like everything else in the house)).  This time Amelia was showing other babies how to sit up. However, Amelia wanted to show babies a new version of the same old trick - Amelia sat up while crying.  Notice how smooth she is - I was impressed that she could do two things at once.  I frequently try to do two things at once (like eating and walking or playing cars and jumping), but usually end up hurt or falling.

Check out the video by clicking on the image (or following this link).

Peace Out,
Phin

NOTE: Amelia is not very pleased about this posting, but I thought it was great and Dad thought it was hysterical.

My First Graduation - 1 Year of Preschool Complete

June 14th was my official start to summer.  Sure, I had been to summer camp at Nana and Papa's already (more to follow on that), but June 13th was my final day of school for the year.  I love school.  I had great teachers (shout out to Morahs Virginia & Jewel).

We did all sorts of fun things at school, like art, music, singing, playing in the shoshall hall (aka the social hall), playing with cars/trucks, and hanging with my school friends.  I love going to school.  We eat a snack and lunch at school.

As I said before, the 14th was my final day of school.  To celebrate we had an ice cream and cookie party at school.  Amelia and Mommy came to visit and celebrate with me.  You can check out the few phone pics mom took here.

Here I am with my class, waiting for the ice cream

Taking my first bite of ice cream

I'm now looking forward to summer and next year at school (where ever that might be).

Peace Out,

Totally Terrific Ten Months Old

As Phin would say, "I've never been older."  Several weeks ago (nearly 4), I hit the 'Terrific Ten' - ten months old.  My tenth month brought all sorts of fun adventures.  I wave, my vocabulary expanded to four words, I scoot and blow raspberries, and I love to dance.  Luckily Phin does too.  My big bro and I love to shake our maracas, wiggle, play our kazoo (I can only give one puff at a time & Dad has to hold it to my mouth), and get down to our own beat.

To celebrate my Terrific Ten, Mommy took Phin and I on a road trip to visit our friend Rachel in Charlottesville, Virginia. Rachel just had a new baby.  When Rachel is not playing mom at home, she's teaching photography.  I told Dad he had the month off and that I would let Rachel take my Terrific Ten photos, she is a professional after all.  After a few tears, Dad finally gave in (I already have him wrapped around my tiny fingers - just wait until I'm 16).  You may remember Rachel from when she took some awesome photos of Phin when he was about 10 months old too (purely coincidence).

Anyway, here are a few preview pics and you can check out the rest here (I included several with Phin, so he would not feel left out).

Lots of Love,
Amelia
